Stacy is a boomerang Hutch resident. After attending Buhler High and Hutch Community College, she left town to attend Wichita State University. In her time at WSU she jumped right into all the extra curricular activities possible. She is most proud of her time served with Alpha Phi Sorority and WSU Student Government.

After living and working in Wichita for a number of years, life took her to Kansas City, Missouri where she got married and had her first son.  While in KC, she enjoyed a successful career as an insurance broker. During the pandemic she decided to go back to school to pursue a Masters of HealthCare Leadership. That decision lead to a resignation, a house sale, a move back to Kansas, a business adventure, a house purchase, and then a new life back in Hutch! Stacy ran a kitchy yard card company for 2 years while finishing her Masters, graduating in 2022.

While in Hutch, Stacy and her husband welcomed their second son and she currently works at Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County where she serves as Community Liaison. Stacy was appointed to the Hutchinson City Council as At-Large Councilwoman in February of 2023. Stacy serves as the Young Professionals of Reno County Social Media Chair. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching her son’s soccer team, reading newspapers, talking politics, spending time with her family and buying books she’ll never read.
