TEFAP Food Distribution Boxing

The Service Team will have a work day with local churches to put together food distribution boxes for the TEFAP program here in Hutchinson. The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income people by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. All members of YP are welcome to serve with us. Please register below or let YP Service Team Chair, Joey Dean, know of your interest by emailing service@yprenocounty.com. We will meet in the evening at the boxing facility and place pre-packaged food items in boxes for distribution at a later date. The boxing of items should take two hours. Afterwards the team will have their monthly meeting at Gambino’s pizza in South Hutch.
