YP – Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

The Young Professionals have an adopted Kansas Highway.  Today we will perform our bi-annual cleanup.  We will meet at Orchard Park.  For those that have not done this in the past, we will split into two groups and walk each side of the 2-mile segment of highway and pickup trash left from a summer of road travel.  We like to perform our fall cleanup in advance of the Kansas State Fair.  We will have water, bug spray, and sun screen if necessary.  Participants may want to wear boots and jeans to provide protection during the walk.  After the cleanup, we will enjoy some food and drinks together.  The first drink will be on us!  Hope to see you there!
