City Council Candidate Forum

The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Reno County announced today they will be hosting a forum for the candidates vying for election to the Hutchinson City Council. On Monday, October 11 a Hutchinson City Council Forum will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Hutchinson Community College Shears Technology Center, 1300 N. Plum. Participating candidates include Greg Fast (Southwest District), Brock Wells (Southwest District), Jill Gumble (Northwest District), Jon Richardson (Northwest District), Sara Bagwell (At-Large District), Marla Jean Booher (At-Large District), and Charles Johnston (At-Large District).
Logan Leuenberger, Board Chair for the Young Professionals of Reno County, will act as the moderator. Candidates will have the opportunity to make opening and closing statements and during the question and answer period, candidates will be given a limited time to answer in order to keep the forum moving. No questions will be accepted from the audience that evening, however, questions can be submitted in advance to chelseyd@hutchchamber.com.
There is no cost to attend. Members of the Chamber and Young Professionals, as well as the general public are encouraged to attend.
